I’m Liudmila Cernat. I live in Lisbon, where I design the future.

How did I get here? Through journalism, digital communication, and a lot of curiosity.

I was born and raised in Moldova. I studied Journalism in Romania. Now I live in Portugal, where I started the transition to UX Writing and Content Design, building on my past experience and upgrading it with new technical skills.

UX writing and journalism share a few design thinking steps: researching, interviewing, sharing findings, and writing for a broad audience. This, for me, made UX design the perfect mix of research, creativity, and problem-solving.

I get to use these skills daily to improve people’s lives.

What I‘m curious about

I’m fascinated by words and their influence on all human experiences and interactions.

It might come as a surprise, but I like reading more than writing. I enjoy discovering different worlds and challenging my assumptions.

When I’m not writing, I like walking around sunny Lisbon. I share my discoveries onInstagram.
